Committed to Memory

During our schooling we are told to memorize information, but often that is just for a moment of time instead of fully committing it to memory. “Committed to Memory” explores common poems being cut out of the book Committed to Memory written by The Academy of American Poets that contains some well known poems we were told to memorize, but have since left our brains for example The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost or Because I could not stop for Death by Emily Dickinson. We are confronted with the question: what else are we often asked to remember, but simple forget with time?
